These ladies will be helping me on Friday, December 4th, 2015 celebrate the one year Book Birthday of What God Brings Together. These wonderful ladies have either offered great writing advice over this past year or I have read one or two of their works and fell head over heals in love with their stories.
Valerie Comer
Valerie Comer’s life on a small farm in western Canada provides the seed for stories of contemporary Christian romance. Like many of her characters, Valerie grows much of her own food and is active in the local foods movement as well as her church. She only hopes her imaginary friends enjoy their happily ever afters as much as she does hers, shared with her husband, adult kids, and adorable granddaughters.
Elizabeth Wehman
Elizabeth Wehman grew up in a rural part of Michigan and pursued many writing opportunities during her twenty plus years of freelance writing. Her writing career began in 1990 with publication in several Christian based periodicals including, “Christian Reader.” Between reporting ten years worth of news in mid-Michigan, at two local newspapers, and pursuing publication through many Christian genres, Elizabeth debuts her novel writing career with “Under the Windowsill,” fulfilling her life-long dream of holding her own book in her hands.

Melanie D. Snitker
Melanie has enjoyed writing fiction for as long as she can remember. She started out writing episodes of cartoon
shows that she wanted to see as a child and her love of writing grew from there.
She and her husband live in Texas with their two children, who keep their lives full of adventure, and two dogs, who add a dash of mischief to the family dynamics.
In her spare time, Melanie enjoys photography, reading, crochet, baking, archery, camping and hanging out with family and friends.
Ruthie Madison
Author Ruthie Madison aka Ruthie Derby to all her friends family grew up in California. She has one older sister and both are taking care of their mother who has dementia. Her father passed away in 2009. Ruthie enjoys reading, crocheting, and knitting, sing most of all making book covers and writing stories. She owns her own graphic design business and wrote three books so far: A Second Chance at Love (A Romantic Suspense with a Christian message), The Past Hunter: When the Past Comes Calling is a Christian Romantic Suspense, and Purify My Heart which is written quite differently than her other two books as it involves Spiritual Warfare and the occult.
Lucie Gauvreau Ulrich
Not much of a reader as a child, Lucie Ulrich took her time becoming a writer. She started with church skits and plays, which in time led her to a position as performing arts director at a small Christian school.
The desire to expand from plays to novels was a natural one, though it took far longer to find a publisher than anticipated. In God’s good timing, her first novel was published in 2012.
No longer involved with the performing arts, Lucie enjoys going on photo shoots with her husband, and taking long (or short) road trips. She hopes to find inspiration as she and her husband explore the four corners of the United States.
JoAnn Durgin
Chautona Havig
Chautona Havig is a prolific writer of fiction, including the popular Past Forward series and Ready or Not, among many other novels. When not writing, she enjoys paper crafting, sewing, and, of course, reading. She lives in a small, remote town in California’s Mojave Desert with her husband and seven of her nine children.
Can’t wait, I am hopefully going to be able to join as I will be traveling back to Maryland from Connecticut!
I hope you can join us as well
